When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and role (student or teacher). As you use the platform, we also collect profile information you voluntarily provide such as subjects, bio, and location.
We use your information solely to operate and improve Flolearn — to match students with the right teachers, send you important account notifications, and personalise your experience. We do not sell your data to third parties.
When you register, we send a one-time verification code to your email address to confirm your identity. This code expires in 15 minutes and is never stored in plain text after use.
Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt encryption. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Access to production databases is restricted and monitored.
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at support@flolearn.in. We will process all requests within 7 days.
Flolearn serves students of all ages including minors. We do not knowingly collect more data than necessary. For students under 13, parental consent is required.
